We were so thrilled to get the call from a mom in Arkasas who wanted a different approach her son's senior pictures. He's a wrestler, and she really wanted images that described the long journey he has taken with the sport. The blood, sweat and tears that he has shed to be ranked in state. We had a few brainstorming sessions, and we knew that she wanted pictures that reflected the rawness of wrestling (without showcasing her son in a singlet.) So we decided to work inside a dim parking garage for some moody, urban light. It was magic. And then beyond the "wrestling" session, we captured traditional senior images as well. We explored historic Westport for a variety of textures and colors.
Many thanks to the Ogle family who made the trek up to Kansas City for this fun senior portrait session. It was such an honor to work with Christopher a.k.a "Turtle." (Yes, this tough guy is named Turtle...but that's a different story, for a different day. But he made the nickname cool long before Entourage!)
Enjoy-

Christine - These are some of the best guy senior portraits I've seen in a while! Great job! Love all the variety from the session. It looks like you really took the time to customize the session for your client and capture his character.
